So I know it’s been a while, it seems my busy photography life has stopped me from blogging, or more taken away my energy to blog.
However I have just come back from London Fashion Week, and it’s shaken me up and put my priorities back into place. So here I am!
I had once again the most hectic, exhausting, hilarious, exciting, rewarding, amazing weekend, it just goes too quickly.
Here are all of my favourite looks from the streets & runways at LFW.
Zeynep Tosun & Lug Von Siga were the two shows I just absolutely loved, the hair and makeup on each show was just impeccable, and the clothes were insane. I especially fell in love with Lug Von Siga’s fringing & cuts, so fresh and modern, I will definitely be looking out for those pieces in the near future.
I then went to Mulberry & Topshop Unique where I found these beautiful people in beautiful clothes.
Until next time LFW x
So I’ve come across far too many images that i’m saving to my desktop, and not really doing anything with them.. so I thought I’d share my favourite images of the day –
Firstly – I am growing an unhealthy obsession with Rihanna. I’ve always been a huge fan but my God – she’s absolutely stunning these days. And the latest pictures of her from her Instagram are something else (not condoning smoking here kids!)
Second, I am literally in shock at how Rob Kardashian is looking these days. the latest episode of Kourtney and Kim take Miami is really quite sad when Rob discusses his break up from (the horrible) Rita Ora, and explains his weight gain.. but my GOD I didn’t think it had gotten this bad. I personally don’t see anything wrong with putting on abit of weight, and especially when there’s heart break involved. Poor boy.
This picture of Kimberley Wyatt just says it all. The Pussycat Dolls were one of my favourite bands of all time, I had all their merchandise, clothes, anything you can think of. I just loved them. So it makes me happy when i see them still doing well!
Next, possibly the coolest children on the planet right now (apart from my baby sister, of course) the Beckhams.
Finally, I really think Cara needs to steady down and stay focused on being the most beautiful girl in the world right now. STOP THE PARTYING CAZ!
OKAY – after a long week of shooting, editing, sending work off to clients.. sitting down and reading this literally feels like someone has placed me in heaven for a couple of hours and given me a bottle of wine. Should I go as far as saying this is my favourite issue as of yet?
Before I even get to the first page I’m hit in the face with a pull-out of Cara Delevingne, which took me half an hour to get past because it’s just so God damn beautiful, and a glossy print of the beautiful Chloe Moretz. I then had to wade through hundreds of adverts, which, yes, are wonderful, but to be honest all i want to see are these incredible editorials I’ve been seeing so much of the past couple weeks on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and of course, http://www.thelovemagazine.co.uk.
So now I’m excited. An issue pretty much dedicated to Cara and Edie? What more can we possibly want.
Ahh McQueen. You kill me.
It was such a nice surprise to have Victoria in this issue, one of the greatest people of our time, but an even nicer surprise to turn the page and be hit with Angel Haze, one of my favourite musicians at the moment. She’s insane! So talented and just, cool!
If you havn’t heard of her or heard any of her music, then get to it!
I always enjoy coming across Suki Waterhouse, especially after shooting her at the Burberry show LFW last year.
Then comes Kate. Does she even need an introduction page!? These images by Tim Walker are just insane. She looks incredible, and her naked body is just art (never said and will never say that sentence again).
AND THEN, the images I pretty much bought this issue for. TheLoveMagazine.Co.Uk creates these videos using the best models to date where they mime a song – and looking pretty amazing doing it. These images seem to have been taken around the same time of Cara’s latest video, and they are 100% going straight on my office wall once I’m done.
Overall this issue has made my week a hell of a lot better, and I hope if you havn’t done so yet then get your butt to the closest retailer and buy a copy, you definitely won’t regret it. Best £6 I ever spent!
How have i never seen these before?
Absolutely stunning, and so inspirational.
Taken from Vogue India May 2012 issue, these stunning images captured by Luis Monteiro offer an incredible mermaid editorial. Anaita Shroff Adajania styles Jessiann Gravel-Beland in the most literal interpretation of the season’s fascination with aquatic life and myths.
