OKAY – after a long week of shooting, editing, sending work off to clients.. sitting down and reading this literally feels like someone has placed me in heaven for a couple of hours and given me a bottle of wine. Should I go as far as saying this is my favourite issue as of yet?
Before I even get to the first page I’m hit in the face with a pull-out of Cara Delevingne, which took me half an hour to get past because it’s just so God damn beautiful, and a glossy print of the beautiful Chloe Moretz. I then had to wade through hundreds of adverts, which, yes, are wonderful, but to be honest all i want to see are these incredible editorials I’ve been seeing so much of the past couple weeks on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and of course, http://www.thelovemagazine.co.uk.
So now I’m excited. An issue pretty much dedicated to Cara and Edie? What more can we possibly want.
Ahh McQueen. You kill me.
It was such a nice surprise to have Victoria in this issue, one of the greatest people of our time, but an even nicer surprise to turn the page and be hit with Angel Haze, one of my favourite musicians at the moment. She’s insane! So talented and just, cool!
If you havn’t heard of her or heard any of her music, then get to it!
I always enjoy coming across Suki Waterhouse, especially after shooting her at the Burberry show LFW last year.
Then comes Kate. Does she even need an introduction page!? These images by Tim Walker are just insane. She looks incredible, and her naked body is just art (never said and will never say that sentence again).
AND THEN, the images I pretty much bought this issue for. TheLoveMagazine.Co.Uk creates these videos using the best models to date where they mime a song – and looking pretty amazing doing it. These images seem to have been taken around the same time of Cara’s latest video, and they are 100% going straight on my office wall once I’m done.
Overall this issue has made my week a hell of a lot better, and I hope if you havn’t done so yet then get your butt to the closest retailer and buy a copy, you definitely won’t regret it. Best £6 I ever spent!
